Citizens’ Perspectives on the Future of Europe
After citizens from all 27 Member States have participated in the European Citizens' Consultations, the project is going into its next phase. Representatives from all 27 member states gathered in Brussels on 9-10 May to synthesize the national Citizens’ Perspectives into one outcome document: the ‘European Citizens’ Perspectives on the Future of Europe’.
On May 9, citizens engaged into an intense debate about the 27 national results, supported by a team of facilitators and experts. In a joint effort, they substantiated these results and came up with a European Citizens’ Perspective on the Future of Europe containing a global vision and recommendations to policy-makers.
