Invitation: Burma photo exhibition opening on January 22

The Open Estonia Foundation and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Estonia are honored to invite you to the opening reception of the Burma photo exhibition on Thursday, January 22 at 4 PM at the main Exhibition Hall of the National Library (Tõnismägi 2, Tallinn).

Mr. Alexander Langer, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Estonia and Ms. Mall Hellam, the Executive Director of the Open Estonia Foundation will both speak about the importance of this exhibition and Ms. Marie Zahradníková from the Czech NGO People In Need will give a short overview of the developments in Burma since the Saffron Revolution in 2007, when hundreds of thousands of people came to the streets to protest against the ruling military dictatorship in their home country.

The exhibition will be available until January 31, 2009.
