Invitation: Meeting with Burmese Monks in Estonia on April 11

Public lecture and discussion on latest developments regarding Burma, April 11, 3 pm at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Islandi väljak 1, Tallinn)

The speakers will be Maureen Aung-Thwin, director of the Burma Project/Southeast Asia Initiative of the Open Society Institute, the venerable Sayadaw U Pannya Vamsa, the chief monk of the Burmese Buddhist Temple in Penang, Malaysia, who is also the Chairman of the International Burmese Monks Organization (IBMO), a worldwide organization of Burmese monks formed after the recent crackdown in Burma and Ashin Sopaka, the spiritual leader of the Cologne-Buddhism-Center.
