Mikola Astrejka Released From Colony
On November 17 the leader of the civil initiative of elections observation “Partnerstva” Mikola Astrejka was released from Shklou colony. As Radio Svaboda informs, his sentence has been changed for correctional labour. At the moment Mikola stays at home. Today morning Mikola visited a police department, which is to determine his place of work.
Astrejka was arrested in February this year and sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment for participation in an unregistered organization. Another member of Partnerstva, Tsimafei Dranchuk, sentenced to a year of imprisonment, remains jailed.
