Comparison of civil society compacts in Europe now available on OEF's website

With support  from the Open Estonia Foundation, the comparison of national civil society compacts compiled by the European Citizen Action Service is now available in English.

The paper compares and contrasts the various compacts between governments and civil society in Europe with a view to examining good practice that could be used to establish a European compact between the EU institutions and civil society in Europe. The paper also includes an overview of the Estonian Civil Society Development Concept (EKAK).

The paper was presented on May 15 at the annual conference of European foundations in Rome where EKAK's experience was introduced by the Open Estonia Foundation and the Estonian Network of Non-profit Organisations.

The paper is available HERE.
