"NEW EUROPE FOR ALL: CIVIL SOCIETY BUILDING BRIDGES"

Open Estonia Foundation - Tallinn

On September 5, an international conference entitled "New Europe for All: Civil Society Building Bridges" will be held in Tallinn. The event is being organized by OEF in the spirit of the Estonian Civil Society Contact Group for the European Convention, which aimed at getting Estonian NGOs involved in debates on the future of Europe. The conference will bring together civil society representatives and decision makers from Estonia and Europe to tackle questions including: Can an active civil society bring the EU closer to its people? Has the Convention on the Future of Europe contributed to a more citizen-friendly Europe? How can NGOs participate in EU policymaking via national channels and European networks? Contact: Ms. Annika Kool; e-mail: annika.kool@kontaktgrupp.ee ; www.oef.org.ee
