Study on mental disability

The level of transposition and application of the EU Directive against discrimination in employment (200/78) varies significantly from one country to the next, according to the EU Monitoring and Advocacy Programme (EUMAP) and the Open Society Mental Health Initiative, an organisation supported by the Soros Foundation. The study on Rights of People with Intellectual Disabilities: Access to Education and Employment puts the problem into clear focus. A series of reports on individual countries have been compiled since autumn 2005.
