Jo Andrews
is the first Director of Ariadne, the European Human Rights Funder Network, which currently has a membership of more than 300 grant-makers and donors across Europe.
Before that she worked at the Institute for Philanthropy in London, on The Philanthropy Workshop programme, and was Director of the Sigrid Rausing Trust for more than four years. She is particularly interested in women's human rights and philanthropy and communications.
In a previous life she was a Senior Correspondent for Independent Television News, based in London and worked all over world, including Northern Ireland, former Yugoslavia, China, the Pacific Islands and Antarctica. She specialised in coverage of politics, working out Westminster, in Washington DC and Brussels.
