XVII Open Society Forum: Populism
Right after the International Day of Democracy on September 15, XVII Open Society Forum brought to Estonia different international experts to discuss the multifaceted topic of populism. The Forum took a close look at its many – often carefully disguised – faces in Europe, as well as analyzed its influences on a pan-European level. The situation in Russia was examined carefully since populist forces have to find new ways of coping with Russia's rising civil society. This year, the Forum was organized in partnership with the Office of the President of Estonia. OEF thanks all the speakers and participants!
